Local and remote softproofing can be controlled from any free Blackmagic GUI client. Each client at the press has it’s own built in ICC monitor calibrator and Calcheck “pass / fail” certification, ensuring consistent colour to industry standards. Publications Pages are automatically polled and processed or submitted using a unique publication name, streamlining the proofing workflow for both local and remote printing sites.

Once processing is complete, jobs areimmedialy listed on the touch screen console for colour accurate display usingpress presets. 3D Flipbook (with paper background) Once processed, the 3D Flipbook provides a fast visual check to ensure all pages have arrived correctly. Using the modify tool and QueueManager search engine, pages can be re-sorted for immediateon-the-fly collation and display. Reader spread display Critical double page reader spread ads can be displayed as side by side pairs at the touch of a button ensuring effortless colour balance checks. This is ideal for both newspaper and magazine publications where ads cross over between different print sections.

Reverse page viewing The opacity control displays the preciseshowthrough effect whilst printing on different gsm stocks when reverse page viewing is selected. Multi-tabbed display Completed publications are loaded and displayed in tab form. Each tab may contain multiple sub sections of imposed or single pages. The user can freely move up and down the tab list for instant display to either side of the sheet. Fast navigation and display speeds The “Show Pages” button on the touch screen console provides fast navigation to any page within any tab containing imposed or de-imposed pages.
