When an item is viewed, the color we see is a result of the color quality of the light source and the reflective characteristics of the item. As a result, when attempting to achieve an accurate color match, colors can appear to match under one light source and then appear significantly different under another light source.

Providing Tight Conformance to the ISO 3664:2009 Standard
GTI’s EVS color viewing systems are ideal for inspecting and evaluating printed output in conference room, studio, and office environments.
EVS viewers utilize GTI’s Graphiclite lamps to produce superior light evenness, excellent rear wall illumination, and enhanced energy efficiency. The EVS’s luminaire is positioned parallel to the floor and utilizes an asymmetrical lens design which directs light at an angle ensuring consistent illumination on the work surface and rear wall.
Five EVS model sizes and a range of options are available.
The Industry Choice
The PDV series provides the right light for accurate color viewing at the right price. Utilizing multi-voltage electronic ballasts and Graphiclite 100 T8 lamps, PDV viewers are the industry choice for D50 controlled desktop viewing of small format color prints.
Three model sizes offer viewing areas from 13" × 19.25" up to 23.5" × 25.25". All models fold for easy set-up, storage, and transport.

Options for Enhanced Viewing
Optional side walls are available on all models to control ambient light.
Adding a lower luminaire improves the evenness of light across the viewing area and is ideal for the most critical color appraisal. Dual luminaire models include side walls.
Soft Proofing Capability
Soft proofing provides an opportunity to shorten the production cycle, while improving communications between color image service providers and their clients. GTI offers two EVS soft proofing solutions.
For accounts in need of standard dimming capability, manually operated digital dimming models are offered.
For automated soft proofing, GTI’s EVS/iQ systems provide the features required for accurate soft proofing, including automatic matching of illumination in the viewing booth to the monitor. EVS/iQ soft proofing models also include digital dimming, a floor stand with casters, side walls, single or dual LCD monitor mounting, a keyboard drawer, and D50 lamps.
